You did not Escape; Was it worth your Time!!

We’ve seen it many times. Guests arrive at Breakout with a sense of friendly competition and the will to win. They work as a team, find clues, solve puzzles and crack codes as they play the game. We’re rooting for them, but they can’t seem to open the final lock before the clock runs out.

Not escaping in time can be disappointing, especially for those of us who tend to be competitive. You might be wondering if an escape game is worth your time and effort, even when you don’t win. At Breakout, we say YES, it is, and here’s why:

Life is about the journey, not the destination

Sure, winning feels good, but the bumps in the road have their benefits, too. Reflect on your escape experience and think about what you learned. Although you may not have solved ALL the ciphers, you probably solved more than you realized. The clues you didn’t find in time, and the puzzles you didn’t solve are there to remind you that life still has some unturned stones. The world around you is filled with surprises waiting to be discovered!

Teams bond over wins AND losses.

Spend some time with your group after the escape experience to discuss what went right in the escape room and what could have gone better. The conversation will likely take unexpected turns. This could be an opportunity to learn more about your friends and acquaintances.

Before every success there are a series of failures.

Albert Einstein once said that, “Failure is success in progress.” This escape experience may not have ended in victory, but don’t let that stop you from trying again. Bring all that you learned from your previous escape game into the next one. Practice makes perfect, and you’ll improve with each attempt.

If you didn’t win this time, all the more reason to try your next adventure at Breakout! To book your next slot visit www.breakout.in 🙂
