  1. My credit / debit card does not go through when I try making a booking.

    No problem. We do understand these things do happen. Reach out to the location you want to make a reservation. Our team will make a reservation on your behalf and you can pay us at the facility.

  2. How is Breakout® different from other escape rooms?

    Breakout® brand of escape games are uniquely curated to have a strong story line. Every clue is linked to the mission and they all come together to reveal the mystery.

    In other words, at Breakout®, we want you to experience a escape room like a movie except that you are part of it instead of watching it.

    Following the game, we have an optional post-game discussion to pick your brains on what you have deciphered and answer any questions on the clues and games?

  3. What is an escape game?

    An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles using clues, hints and strategy to complete the objectives at hand. Players are given a set time limit to unveil the secret plot which is hidden within the rooms.

  4. I am unable to make it at the slot reserved. Can i request for an alternative slot?

    In case you would like to reschedule your slot, please reach us at least 48-hours prior to your booked slot for possible options.

  5. I don’t have a debit or a credit card. What do i do?

    Reach out to us based on the contact information for the location. We will make a reservation on your behalf and you can pay us at the facility.

  7. Is it safe to make a reservation on your website

    We are SSL certified to ensure that all communication to and from the website is encrypted.

  8. How many days in advance can i book a slot?

    Games are available for bookings 30 days in advance. If you are interested in a date farther than 30 days, please call us for assistance.

  9. What do i need to bring?

    If you have made your reservation online, you will need just your working brain!

    If you are walking in or made a reservation over the phone, do not forget your wallet…

  10. What if i am late to my game?

    We may have to shorten your playing time if we have another team playing right after you. Otherwise, we are accommodating.

  11. Are the games scary?

    Most of our games are not scary but there is definitely a mystery element. Even though we lock people in a room, most people have found the whole experience exhilarating rather than scary.

  12. Are tickets refundable?

    No. Tickets are not refundable.

  13. How long does it take to play a game?

    In general we recommend allocating 90 minutes for one game experience.

    Each mystery has 3 components :

    1. Briefing of the story (15 min)
    2. Escape game (up to 60 min)
    3. Post game discussion (15 min)

    If you have a strong team, you may be able to escape within 60 minutes! Come check out if you have what it takes in escape in less than 60 minutes…

  14. Is there an age limit?

    People from ages 10 and above are welcome to enjoy the experience for most of our games.
    If you are younger than a teenager, we recommend an adult to accompany them.

    For children’s escape games, the age limit is between 6 and 13.

  15. How many people can play the game?

    Minimum 2 people and maximum can be up to 20 per game. The actual number varies with the game chosen and the city. Please check the game page you are interested in for the capacity and the recommended team size.

Privacy policy

Breakout® collects your basic information to service your requests. This basic information is gathered when you purchase products/gift card vouchers or when you sign up for e-mail notifications. Information gathered from you includes your name, mailing address, e-mail and phone number. Only when you place an order, your card information is requested and is submitted via the highest level of encryption to make sure of the greatest amount of safety and security. Some of the reason why we gather this information:

  • To process your order.
  • Shipping and customer service.
  • We also use the information to upgrade our products, customer services.
