Rummy Card Game – Gin Rummy is played with a deck of 52 cards, jokers (jokers) are not used. It is better to use two decks, so that while one player is dealing cards, the opponent can shuffle the other deck.
The order of the cards, from highest to lowest, is: king (K), queen (Q), jack (J), ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, and ace. Regarding the value of the cards, the number cards are worth 10 points and the other cards are worth the value indicated by their pips.

Each player uses his hand to form a meld of three or more cards, to score more than 100 points needed to win the game before his opponent when playing multiple hands.

The deck is placed on the table and each player draws a card. The player who draws the highest card chooses a seat and deals ten cards to each player, one at a time, leaving the deck with the remaining cards in the center of the table. The top card of the stock deck is placed face up next to it to start the discard pile. In the next game, the player who won the previous game becomes the dealer.
Players who do not turn over a card start the game, with the option to take a face down card next to the common deck, meaning one of their cards must be discarded. If the card doesn’t serve, the player passes without discarding. The opponent can instead take that card and discard the rest, and if he doesn’t care, he passes without discarding. Then the first player can now remove the top card from the common deck, discarding one more. Play continues, and each player, in turn, may draw the top card of the deck or discard pile, then discard a card, but that may not be the same card he just took from the discard pile.
The game consists of players gathering 10 cards in their hand to make a minimum combination of three cards of the same value or series of the same suit. The ace can be combined with the two but not with the king (K). A player may fold when his hand contains only unpaired cards with a total value of no more than 10 points, making a Knock. Once the players discard their last card, they reveal all their cards and announce the number of points left unfused. Knock is not required, players can extend the game to improve their hand. The best hand is to make a Gin, which consists of putting together ten cards.
In both cases, when the player folds, revealing all of his cards, the opponent does the same, gets a chance to get rid of any unpaired cards, and can combine cards with those revealed by the player who hit or announced Gin.

When a player declares Gin, he wins a partial game, while if a player knocks on the door, that player or the opposing player can win it. The player wins if the value of their unmatched card is less than the value of the opponent’s unmatched card, and the opponent wins if the value of their unmatched card is equal to or less than the value of the Knocked card.
The opponent’s card to the person who declared Gin or Knocked is evaluated after discarding the cards he has not combined and is linked to the hand combination established by the declared Gin or Knock.
The game ends when enough partial games have been played to allow a player to score 100 or more points. The player who makes the Gin adds 20 points plus the value of the card that the opponent cannot match. If the Hitting player wins the game, he scores the difference in value of the mismatched card from his opponent’s card, while if the opponent wins, he scores 10 points plus the difference in value of the mismatched card between the two players. If there is no difference, the bonus of 10 points is maintained.
After the game is over, the player gets the following bonuses: 100 points for winning the game, 20 points for each partial game won, and 100 points for winning all rounds of the game without the opponent winning anything. Rummy is a well known group of matching card games for similar games based on matching cards of the same rank or sequence and of the same suit. The basic objective in any form of rummy is to build a meld which can either be a set (three or four of the same kind) or a run (three or more sequential cards of the same suit) and be the first out or to accumulate more points than the opposition.
There are two general theories about the origin of Rummy, attributing its origin to Mexico or China in the 9th century.
The first is that it originated in Mexico around the 1890s in a game described as Conquian in R.F. Foster Foster’s Complete Hoyle book, which is played with a 40 card Spanish deck and has a fusion mechanic. The second is that Rummy originated in Asia, and that Rummy was the result of a Mahjongg variant called Kun P’ai that was westernized as Khanhoo by W.H. Wilkinson in 1891.
Games scholar David Parlett combines these two theories and suggests that the Mexican game of Conquian is the ancestor of all rummy games, and that Conquian is the equivalent of the Chinese game of Khanhoo.

The rummy principle of drawing and discarding with the aim of consolidating has appeared in Chinese card games since at least the 19th century and possibly as early as the 18th century.
Rummy variations such as Gin and Canasta became popular in the 20th century. The game of rummy is popular in India, and Indian rummy is most likely an extension of the gin rummy and 500 rum, which originated in the United States.
Some associate it with the British slang word rum, meaning odd, odd, or strange. Others say that its origin is in the game of Rum Poker, or in the popular liquor of the same name.
Depending on the variation, each player is dealt a number of cards from a standard 52-card deck, more than one deck, or a special deck of cards used for a particular game. The undealt cards are placed in a face down pile in the center, known as the stock. In most variations, a card is placed face up next to the pile where the player discards or spills a card, and this is known as the discard pile. In 10 Card Rummy, which is often played with two, three, or four players, each player is dealt a t card. In a game of rummy with five players, each player is dealt six cards. In 500 Rummy, each player is dealt seven cards. In Indian Rummy, 13 cards are dealt to each player.

Mixes can be in a set (also known as a book) or in a run. A set contains at least three cards of the same rank, for example, 4♥4♦4♠ or K♥K♦K♠K♣ . A run consists of at least three consecutive cards of the same suit J♣ Q♣ K♣ or 4♥ 5♥ 6♥ 7♥. Very few variations allow races that have mixed suits. In some rummy variations, other patterns may be allowed. In some variations, the combinations (sets and series) must be 3 or 4 cards, while other variations allow for larger combinations by using longer series, for example: 8♠ 9♠ 10♠J♠Q♠ or, if there are multiple decks or jokers the cards are used, 5 ♦ 5 ♦ 5 ♥ 5 ♠ 5 ♠ or Q ♥ Q ♦ J Q ♣ . Jokers (like Jokers) can be used to restore any card in a meld. The number of wilds in a combination may be limited.
Depending on the game variation, players take turns adding and removing cards from their hand. There are many and quite different ways to do this, though it usually involves selecting a card from the deck and discarding it to the discard pile. In some variations, the combination is revealed to all players by placing them face down on the table, in other variations, each player hides their hand until the moment of execution. Some variations allow for the collection of scrap tire piles. Some variations allow you to draw cards from your opponent’s melds.
In most variations, players must lay down all of their cards.
